Local small businesses provide the same options and quality for virtual services than large companies.
According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, small businesses represent more than 99.7% percent of all employers. They also employ nearly half of all private-sector employees, pay 40.3% of the total U.S. private payroll, and have generated about 65% of net new jobs over the past 20 years.
What once had to be done onsite, can now be executed sitting behind a camera on your laptop or just using your phone. Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, among other platforms have become a convenient and cost efficient interpreting service. But that dosen't necessary mean that you have to hire those services with large companies, local small businesses provide the same options for services and by hiring a local agency you will be helping and giving back to your own community providing local interpreters reasons to stay in their original communities.
